Today is my 32nd birthday. I'm pretty sure when I was 12, I had no idea that this is what life at 32 would look like. However, I've had the best day and am looking forward to an exciting 32nd year of life! I've got two weddings to be in, an incredible trip to Ecuador planned, and who knows what else is in store!
The best part of my day was getting to visit my best friend Joi and her awesome husband Dave at the hospital. Now, usually visiting the hospital isn't a good thing but in this case it is- they welcomed their first child into the world last night! That's right, baby Theron finally made his appearance! Because I had the day off, I got to go hang out with them.
And, since I was so close to the mall, it would have been wrong to not stop in. I didn't purchase anything for myself but got some books for the library. Hope the kids like them because I lugged those heavy suckers around half of the mall!
(why yes, that is a pic of me in the bathroom at the mall...i wasn't sure that i'd get a full length pic and now you get to see my adorable handbag by Jason Wu for Target!)
To end my great day, I headed to my parents' house for dinner. They very nicely cooked for me and everything was yummy!
(Sophie, my dog, wanted to make a guest appearance in this picture. Unfortunately, she doesn't like to look at the camera when people take pictures.)
Wish I could have a day like this every day!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Kurt! Can't wait to see you in June!
DeleteHappy Birthday Anna!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little baby!!!!! :-)
I like your hospital/shopping look, classy and causal.
Is that Sophie? What a cutie! What bred is she? Is that your neighborhood? It looks very nice and green.
Brian (Mr. Tman) and I had eye doctor appointments today and bought new glasses. I tried to update my look. We even asked the youngest employee what she thought.... did not go with her first choice, but her second..... (I still need to see; the ones she liked were narrow and thick). I like the ones I picked because they have some "bling" on the sides. :-)
Thanks, Tman!
DeleteThat is little Sophie! She is a Bichon Frise. That picture was taken in the backyard at my mom and dad's house. They have a beautiful yard!
Can't wait to see your new glasses!
